PLAY WITHOUT BOUNDARIES EVENT

On the 9th of November 2024 Botswana Council for the Disabled (BCD) honored an invitation by Play Without Boundaries to attend and set up a stall at the event.

The primary goal of the event is to bridge the gap in the inclusion of persons with disabilities, challenge stereotypes and raise awareness about disability in general. Speaking at the event, Play Without Boundaries Chairman- Onkabetse Nkobolo mentioned that the event aims to provide individuals with disabilities a platform to confidently showcase their talents in the sporting arena, free from the fear of discrimination or exclusion.

Participants engaged in various adaptive sporting activities including wheelchair basketball, wheelchair tennis, blind soccer and Bocce.
